MANILA, Philippines- Former President and now Pampanga Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo will undergo booking procedures today inside her hospital room at St. Luke's Hospital in Taguig City, police said.

Chief Supt. Agrimero Cruz Jr., Philippine National Police spokesman, said the booking procedures will push through this afternoon but did not say any definite time when it will end.

Senior Superintendent Joel Coronel, chief of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Metro Manila, said the booking procedures will push through at "around lunch time."

"We are waiting for attending physicians to complete medical checkupon GMA before we begin with the booking procedures," Coronel said in atext message.

Booking procedures include the taking of mug shots and fingerprints. Arroyo was placed under hospital arrest for electoral sabotage chargefiled by the Commission on Elections at the Pasay City court.

According to Sr. Supt. James Bucayo of the Southern Police District, they will try to finish taking Arroyo's fingerprints today but the mugshot might be postponed for another day.

A PNP medico-legal team is also at St. Luke's to conduct a standard health check-up for the former president who has been complaining of hypoparathyroidism and a bone disease.
